The Doctors, Nurses and all the staff at this Surgery provide a completely confidential service for teenagers including the under 16s. Information about you will only be shared with a third party with your full consent.

Reception is a very busy area. If you would like to speak to a Receptionist in private just ask.

Contraception - a Range of Options- Loads of Advice ...

All methods on contraception can be discussed in complete confidence with the Doctor of your choice and the best option for you arranged.

The Doctors also provide emergency contraception (the morning after pill). To be effective you need to seek advice within 72 hours of having unprotected sex. You can also purchase emergency contraception from any Chemist if you are aged 16 or over.

There is also a contraception clinic for teenagers every Saturday morning at Connexions in Stafford (near Argos) from 10am - 12 noon. Telephone 01785 356656 - You do not need an appointment.

CHATS ...

CHATS (Confidential Health Advisory Service for the under 21s) holds a drop in session at Stafford Central Clinic in North Walls on Saturday mornings from 10.00am to 12 noon.

Travelling Abroad ...

If you are travelling abroad don't take risks or you could be bringing back more than just a case of dirty clothes.

Some infections can make you very ill or even affect you for the rest of your life. For example, drinking a glass of water, a simple fall or a road accident needing medical treatment can all put you at risk.

We run a weekly Travel Clinic at the Surgery where you can obtain plenty of advice and any immunisations that you may need to help ensure that you are fully protected.
